Built for a busy couple with grown children, this lakeside retreat offers 270 degree views of Lake Winnipesaukee. The couple, who are in the hospitality business, had many ideas based on their exposure to the industry. Part of working on the house entailed the use of objects from their travels, and even building some of them into the finished product, like the custom made heron tile in the kitchen. BDA worked with these clients from the inception of the project, providing detailed drawings for lighting, casework and millwork, kitchen and bathroom design, and tile layout. Plumbing, lighting and finish schedules were created for the builder to facilitate the process.
