This unusually shaped kitchen was puzzling to the owners in deciding on a floor plan that worked. The existing space was decidedly 1980's style with its odd angles and contemporary cabinetry. BDA dressed up the stark columns, added decorative muntins to the fan window and specified new casements with more detail to blend this room with the rest of the traditional Cape style home. The new cabinets, made locally, featured a soft khaki paint finish and classic, square edged, recessed panels.
