Elements of the old have been blended with the new to make a successful transition from a 200 year old house to this modern kitchen. The sink, made of stone, is reminiscent of the old granite trough that once stood outside in the yard. A gas range allows one the opportunity to cook with open flame. Distressed metal on the faucets lend an aged look that coordinates with the cabinet hardware on the cherry cabinets and complements the mellow wood tones of the old floor boards. Appliances in a warm stone gray blend with the natural color palette of the house.
