GRAPPONE
RESIDENCE
Dining Room
Concord, New Hampshire
Re-done as a benefit for
Concord Hospital's fundraiser, this early 1900's West End home features
many beautiful architectural details. The dining room, pictured here,
has two china cabinets with niches that are painted a rich plum
color.
The furnishings are
crafted in tiger maple by New Hampshire furniture maker D.R. Dimes
in authentic Hepplewhite and Chippendale styles. A faux finish, ragged
on the walls using four colors, creates depth in a room that is
small by today's standards. Mirrored sconces add another dimension
to this inviting scene.
